Portrait settings:

Send reference photos of a meaningful location to be used for your portrait setting.
There are limits to my time and skill so I will let you know if I am capable and willing to use your location. I won’t be painting locations like Disney, Hogwarts, etc. But if you have a landscape or a childhood home for example, I’ll see what I can do.

Payments
$100 deposit is due at time of contract acceptance to hold your place.
When it is your turn in line, 2-3 sketches of poses and settings will be sent for ghost family portraits, no sketches necessary for pet portraits as I’ll be working off your reference photos. Once quality references are received and sketch selected 50% of the balance is due before painting. If unpaid within one week of selection the next person in line will be helped and I will come back to you when their painting is finished.
The remaining balance will be due before receiving your painting at the time it is complete.
Please don’t be afraid to let me know if you need additional time and would like me to do the next persons portrait then come back to you. Life happens and I appreciate everyone who has even considered commissioning me to paint a meaningful piece of art for them.
Timeline:
I plan to allot 2 weeks per painting in the order they were received and deposits paid. I hope to work faster than that and will update you if I am getting them done sooner than expected. At the time your deposit is paid I will let you know what the estimated time frame will be based on how many are ahead of you.

Shipping is free! If you’re located in the metro Detroit area delivery or pickup from an in person event can be discussed.

Transparency:
I have ADHD, OCD, chronic pain, and a sick dog. I work part time, and sell my personal work at shows every couple of weekends (sometimes every weekend). There may be some weeks where I finish 3 pieces and some weeks where I do not. My productivity is going to fluctuate due to my dogs level of care needs during treatment, shows I will be vending, etc. I may occasionally need extra time to complete a commission, and such will be communicated. This is the best way for me to earn money while being present to care for him. Wherever we are in our health journeys I will do my best to keep you updated in the process.
